| Abstract: Paraquat is one of the most widely used organic heterocyclic herbicide, has highly toxicity both to human and animal, the mortality rate of acute intoxication in humans is extremely high especially at taking by oral. Few patients have been successfully saved, especially those with moderate or severe paraquat poisoned. The pathogenesis of paraquat intoxication has been not clear yet, and there is still no effective treatment also. This paper will give a brief review on the pathogenesis and treatment . |
